Hello All.....just purchased an 09 plate CC3 in black. Very pleased with it so far (driven 500 miles, various road types). Only mod I am going to fit at the moment is a reversing sensor.
Based on the sunny? south coast in Dorset.

Welcome George, yes parking sensors are a must. Mine are in sets of four and are colour coded. I have front and rear sensors. You will find lots of tech stuff on this site. We also have a sister site on Facebook. It's used for daily banter, pics and tech stuff. It's also free to join but you have to put a join request in on site.
It's at Ford Focus CC Owners Club.
Regards, Steve.

Cheers Steve, thanks for the welcome & info. A quick question...any thoughts of the merits of a wind deflector?

Hi again, regarding wind deflecter, I own an XR3i cabriolet which I have owned for 26 years. I used to smoke and have long hair. If I drove over 40 mph I couldn't smoke and my hair ended up a mess. Wind deflectors were rare back then but I had one made colour coded to my interior trim at the Karman factory in Cologne. I found out that at 80 mph no turbulence whatsoever so when I bought my Focus CC back in 2010 the wind deflected was the first thing I bought. I have since stopped smoking and my hair is short but it's still a better driving experience without turbulence and the rear seat belts banging onto the rear seats. Worth every penny !

Get the one in the Ford bag that folds up to fit in the boot when not in use. It folds into a quarter of its size.
The cheaper brand just folds in half and is awkward to store when not in use

Hi all,

I got my Ford Focus cc3 a few weeks ago and am really enjoying it so far. It came with a wind deflector and I've only had the roof down when the roof deflector is on so far.

Hi,
Purchased a 2007 CC3 , 2 weeks ago. Had a few Issues already but nothing too exciting. AC needed topping up, easily fixed but notice as soon as you select AC on it defaults to 25C bit strangle. Also had transient fault with power steering which garage not able to replicate and twice Engine fault warning came up but cleared on restart. Checked battery voltage after run it was only 12.2 so replacing battery at weekend hoping that might clear the transient faults. Road noise quite high, guess tha'ts the tyres?

Still having the Steering assist problems any ideas?

That apart enjoying it, will test by driving to Spain in 6 weeks time, if all goes well will post pix

Hello everyone, I have just become a cc2 owner. Found this car with 1 inch of dust abandoned in an old lady's living room transformed into a garage since the lady died in 2015. The focus is 2009 and has 19000miles on board. Thank you for the great forum, donated already. Bogdan

Hi - new member here! 07 reg CC-3 2.0 bought last week. Only done 350 miles so far having previously driven VW Passat so driving experience is a bit different. Loved having the top down on the M1! :D

Came without a spare wheel but I am not sure if if the "standard" space saver spare will be suitable as I have the 18" wheels - assistance will be gratefully received
